Digital Transformation: Pop-up Event

Automatic, practical, good?
How can automation make production more efficient - and still put people at the center? That was the key question addressed by the pop-up event organized by the we_gmbh in cooperation with TIM Transformation Network and the Digital Hub Upper Swabia in our halls.

After two inspiring keynote speeches on the topics of „Transformation in automation & technology“ and „In the flow: the networked factory“ with Stefan Waldvogel and Heiko Wenzel, the participants went straight into practice and thus into the halls of fpt robotics. At various stations, they were able to explore the areas of robot programming, intralogistics, digital printing, service & support, robotics & production and standard robots.

An overview of the lessons learned:

  • Full automation is possible - but not always sensible.
  • Successful transformation starts with attitude, not technology.
  • Employees must be actively involved - mindset first!
  • Successful partnerships are based on common goals, not just common interests

The conclusion: the transformation of production does not start with technology, but with attitude. Active participation and shared interests are the key.
